Canadian Car Owner Becomes Loyal Fan of Suzuki Automotive Reliability

Nancy Bendus of Canada, a super-fan of Suzuki vehicles, recently purchased her eighth Suzuki, a 2009 Grand Vitara, and says. “It has been a pleasure owning each and every one of these cars. They have been very reliable, fun to drive and fuel efficient.”

Ms. Bendus shopped for her first Suzuki because she needed a 4WD car to cross winter’s snow-laden fields to the barn to feed her horse, but she also loved convertibles. A commercial on television convinced her to go for a 1986 Samurai, which passed the first test by climbing over a snow bank at the gates to the barn. During her five-year ownership of that Samurai, Nancy was very favorably impressed with the wonderful service provided by the dealer in Kitchener, so she continued to buy Suzuki vehicles.

Ms. Bendus’s next seven Suzukis were purchased at Brantford Suzuki, about which she remarks: “I not only found a great car but a great dealership with an honest, helpful, friendly owner who will do anything to Please his customers. His staff is just as efficient and helpful. ”Nancy regrets selling her x-90, so Brantford Suzuki President Val Petrella is helping her look for a replacement, in addition to her new Suzuki. The happy owner of many Suzuki’s concludes. “ Thank you for building great cars! It has been a pleasure dealing with Suzuki Canada through Brantford Suzuki. I hope to purchase more Suzukis in the future.

CLEMENT FAMILY

Although our sales and service “relationship” with Brantford Suzuki is only one year old, it’s been a remarkable experience!

Last April, our son was in the market for his first car. Suzuki’s offer of 6 years 0% interest, which made for manageable payments for a university student, certainly caught our eye… but it was the quality and full packaging of the sport red SX4 Sedan that made the decision an easy one for him. Val Petrella couldn’t do enough to ensure a positive and painless purchasing experience for a first-time buyer, and his solid promise that Brantford Suzuki would provide exceptional service for years to come was very reassuring.

Two months later, with our own aging vehicles giving us grief, we didn’t think twice about returning to Brantford Suzuki to see what they could do for us. Within an hour, we were the proud owners of a new Grand Vitara for my husband, and a classy black SX4 Sedan for myself. Again, the financing deal couldn’t be beat anywhere, but the look, superior quality and performance of the vehicles, as well as the personable and caring sales experience provided by Val and his wife Diane, were the clinchers. The promise of providing exceptional service has been proven over the course of the year with Michael Petrella and his service technicians Mike and Tom providing nothing less than professional, responsive and informative service support.

Based on our very positive experiences at Val Petrella’s Brantford Suzuki, our oldest daughter has just purchased a distinguished charcoal grey metallic Grand Vitara to replace her aging Nissan, and our middle daughter has her eye on the newly-released Kizashi, which provides a second-to-none driving experience. Without a doubt, it won’t be long before she is a Suzuki owner, making this Harley family a total SUZUKI family.

Brantford Suzuki may be smaller than other dealerships in the area, but without a doubt that works in our favour as Val, Diane and Michael Petrella take the time to get to know their customers and strive to make the purchasing and service experiences as personable and meaningful as possible. We’re looking forward to continuing our relationship with this dealership for many years to come.

Overall great experience and would gladly purchase another vehicle from Brantford Suzuki. I recommend anyone looking to buy a truck or Jeep in my case to go see Val first.

Service like the good old days!

Ever wonder where the days when the owner of the company cares whether you become their customer or not, have gone?

Well, at Brantford Suzuki, you are valued by Val!

That’s right the owner of the company is named Val and he cares. He wants you for his customer whether you’re getting your oil changed or buying a new vehicle or anything in between. We stumbled on them by accident, simply by purchasing a used Suzuki just because we liked the way it looked, and it had 4 wheel drive. That vehicle has been terrific and the service at Brantford Suzuki (which started when they fixed someone else’s error in replacing our brakes) has been BEYOND TERRIFIC!

We are so pleased with their service that when it came time for my husband to get a new vehicle we knew it had to be a Suzuki just so we knew we could have it serviced by Val and his service crew.

He meets you, then greets you and then is always happy to help you enjoy your Suzuki. He makes you feel like he values your business every time you visit or even just call to ask a question.

The good old days are not gone at Brantford Suzuki.

LAST MINUTE BEFORE CLOSING

After my adventure on Monday evening, in light of reading the ‘About Us’ page of your website, I felt this strong urge to submit a testimonial which I was powerless to resist.

Living in Hamilton and having lost my favourite dealer i.e. Oakville Suzuki, I now find myself as a new member of the Brant County Power Inc. family and pleased to discover your dealership so close to my place of work! I eagerly made a ‘note to self’ to drop by the dealership in order to schedule much-needed maintenance and repairs. On Monday evening, an unscheduled drop-in was prompted by the following rather outlandish incident.

In the drizzly darkness of that evening, driving eastbound on Governors Rd between Brant County Power’s offices and Paris Rd 2, I suddenly discovered that, due to poor visibility – exacerbated by a shredded driver-side windshield wiper -I had been driving on the paved shoulder (which is actually more like an older lower-level sidewalk); one discovers this when the real sidewalk suddenly curves out towards the road creating a rather foreboding obstacle.

This caused me understandable concern on consideration of my personal safety during the highway drive required to get me to Hamilton. A quick time check suggested that the dealership would be closed on my arrival. I arrived @ ~ 5:50; the chain was up blocking parking lot access off Hwy 24 – I parked on the pub side of the chain. The door to Parts & Service was locked but the lights were still on in the offices and display room where I could see people. When I entered, making all sorts of apologetic noises about my ‘last minute before closing’ arrival, Val himself (as it turns out) was non sequitor, stated that he was just about to head out to make a delivery, and then proceeded to take the time to go to where I had parked my car and personally remove the offensive wiper.

He took it back to the stock room and confidently came out with a replacement stating, “Though I don’t work in the Service Department, I’m pretty sure that I can install a windshield wiper” and promptly went out in the drizzle to do so. When we were back inside to tally up he said, “What is your name”. I assumed that he was asking so as to enter me into the database – he responded by saying, “Hi, I’m Val; I own the dealership”.

Absolutely amazing: That level of service from the owner himself for a $15 dollar sale!! Therein lies the explanation behind customer loyalty over 3 decades and counting; i.e., titles are immaterial – who ever is there just gets what needs to be done, done … and care is taken to minimise customer discomfort/guilt by not flaunting ‘title’ at inopportune moments.

Not to use what is perhaps now considered cliche, but I have to say that Val ‘walks the talk’ even when the sale is insignificant and no one is watching!!

Please extend my personal ‘thanks’ to Val for assisting me and allowing for my stress-free / safe return home. Looking forward to future dealings with Brantford Suzuki. Ruth – Loyal owner of a faithful ’98 Esteem Wagon
